Description
- mahogany
with reeded turned arms and legs; together with a similar example, possibly earlier in date, on castors, each with removable squab cushions
Condition
A matched pair of refined armchairs in overall reasonable conserved condition. The colour of the timber to both is rich and there are atmospheric signs of wear commensurate with age and use. One chair with restored breaks to the upper arm rails which are secure and a strengthening baton to the front seat rail. The other with minor movement along the lines of construction. The caning to both is later. Each with two drop in leather squab cushions.
