Condition
The canvas has a strip lining, undulates slightly. A few minor of craquelure and resulting dirt to them visible in the snow in the foreground; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals areas of retouching along the left and upper edges. Some flecks of retouching predominantly in the upper half of the background and a couple of flecks to her face and isolated spots in her clothes.
Held in a gilt Watts style frame, matching the other work by Reid in the sale
