Condition
The canvas has a rather firm relining, the paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even - the painting does not require any further attention. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a milky, opaque varnish beneath which it is difficult to discern any previous restoration, but the there appears to be little or no intervention to the painting at all.
