Condition
Pile generally good, near original closely sheared 1/10 inch overall; a few minor tracks of vertical foldwear low to knotheads, and a few warp ties showing. Silk powdering if fingernails run over surface.
Original selvages with some reselvaging.
Original 1/2 inch flatwoven ends and 1/8 to 3 inch warp fringes. Surface dirt and stains especially visible on end finishes and fringes---rug will enhance with careful cleaning.
Hanging cloth tape sewn to reverse of upper end.
Supple handle, sound fabric, good overall condition.
