Pile generally good near original 1/8th in with areas of wear to knot heads to foundation at both ends. More pronounced at the upper end. A 5in. area of vertical foldwear at the center of the rug. Warp ties showing in areas. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt. Furniture marks. Mottling to reds and pinks due to overdying. Sides later overcast. Losses to end guard stripes. Recommend securing. Good dense weave. Lustrous wool. Sound fabric and condition. Recommend careful cleaning.
