the enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, and inscribed F. Berthoud/ A Paris,  the movement numbered 43. 

Condition

Overall good condition and presentation. A few scuffs and scratches to case and oxidation and dust to mounts consistent with age and use. Some cracking and areas of lifting to enamel on dial. One small - approximately 4 in. area of cracking and minor lifting to veneer on case. 4 in.x 4 in. area of veneer replacement on lower section of case.
