painted by and signed Collot, spurious interlaced L marks surrounding the letter A, the inside of one base with bronzier's mark ED.

Condition

Overall in good condition and presentation. Both covers restored, one very small chip to one foot, obscured when in mount. One finial of slightly different design, the undersides of both covers and tops of bottles with traces of old putty. Some slight discoloration and tarnish to mounts consistent with age and atmospheric conditions. The porcelain bottles in good condition with some very minor scratches and wear to gilt consistent with age and handling. The porcelain unexamined out of mounts.
