with skeletonised hour dial and subsidiaries for date and seconds, and a secondary smaller hour dial on the opposite side, the single train weight driven movement of very long duration (probably year going) signed Trouilleboult A Vendome, with gridiron pendulum, mounted on a later architectural gilt bronze mounted mahogany case.
Condition
Overall in good condition & presentation. Works apparently complete. All dials behind glass. All dials with minor to moderate wear to paint, the heaviest around the dial showing days of the week. Some scuffs and marks to case consistent with age and use, light tarnish and oxidation to brass consistent with handling and atmospheric conditions.
Please note that the movement has not been checked for functionality. However, the movement is complete and may be put into a working state by a professional horologist.
