Condition

Please note these elegant chairs will require workshop attention. There are variations throughout to polished surface. They appear to have undergone restoration at some point, most probably when they were recovered in their current fabric. This workshop attention included re-polishing as the surface is later. There are old scuffs, marks and cotta he's throughout. One standard chair with break to leg which will require pining. One standard chair of an unsteady stance with loose components. One standard chair with loss to central rosette and to the carved laurel swags. One stands chair with loss to laurel swag. One standard chair with scuffs and losses to the feet. One armchair back fractured and cracked with loss also to central rosette. One of these damaged central rosette slacking section which will require replacement and it is possible that other carved elements need replacement. The upholstery is tired and would benefit from a clean/replacement. Despite the condition issues outlined above these are good chairs but do require attention to rectify the issues outlined above. We would recommend salesroom inspection for this lot and that interest parties satisfy themselves with regards to condition.
