Condition
This is exquisite and so often the lacquer is not stable on objects of this nature - however in this instance the lacquer is in very very good order and of lovely quality. And so pretty. The silver metal mounts and borders are tarnished. They key condition is an issue with the top it is currently detached with one pierced side. Leaving the base and one upright together when it is lifted. See the image attached. This should be easy to repair but there is some trauma to the lacquer where the pierced side sections have come away. A jewel that would benefit from gentle repair.
