A SET OF SIX CHINOISERIE POLYCHROME-DECORATED AND PARCEL-GILT LEATHER PANELS, NOW MOUNTED AS A SCREEN SOUTHERN ITALY OR SPAIN, 18TH CENTURY

Very decorative and in excellent restored condition. One lower hinge though, will require repair as it is severed. The leather has been re-lined and there is evidence of this remedial work. There are areas of re-painting. There are filled areas where the leather has split all of these repairs have been done very well. Some losses and unevenness to surface. Surfaces is stable. Hinges and close nailed borders later. The reverse is not decorated and covered with plain fabric.
