chaque pièce ciselée de côtes et richement appliquée de motifs floraux, gravée d'un cimier, comprenant une cafetière, une théière, un sucrier non couvert et un pot à lait, accompagnés d'un grand plateau anglais en métal doré à deux anses, à décor gravé assorti, le bord appliqué de grappes de raisin, avec une pince à sucre en vermeil à décor de coquilles, Paris, 1819-1838

In overall good condition. Needs a good cleaning. Coffee-pot handle slightly wobbling, sugar bowl slightly wobbling. The later plated tray with two verdigris spots, one on centre, one on border. Unsual minor scratches. Small ivory insulators. All pieces with legible marks, stamped ODIOT A PARIS. All remarked with later Minerva head (France after 1838). The coffee-pot only stamped with Minerva head and the maker's mark of Odiot, so possibly slightly later (circa 1840) but engraved with same crest. The associated gilt-plated tray stamped EPNS and with other marks, well matching the set. The silver-gilt sugar tong engraved CG in overall very good condition. All pieces of good weight and nice design.
