Good condition.
The drawing is on a thin cardboard. Small dirt spots along the borders and small spots on the two upper borders. The drawing is a bit dirty. The photograph in the catalogue is slightly too pink.

En juillet-août 1888 parut dans le journal Les lettres et les arts, la nouvelle de Ferdinand Fabre intitulée Norine, illustrée de ce lavis d’encre. Cette histoire fut développée par l’auteur dans le roman Xavière publié deux ans plus tard.
