the rectangular case with a removable front panel within a beaded frame, a baitong openwork pull, quatrefoil back plate, a rectangular metal plate and slide lock, and ruyi-form mounts on all eight corners, and metal straps where the stepped handle meets the chest, the interior with four jichimu drawers
Condition
The surface of the exterior is bleached from sun exposure. The interior with one drawer front broken out on one side and repaired. The chest with other minor repairs and possible replacements.
