上款：「巽堪」即蔡晉鏞（1877-1947後），字云笙，號雁村，蘇州人。晚清舉人，早歲留學日本，返國後從事教育，創辦蘇州公立第一中學堂，即草橋中學，吳湖帆、葉聖陶、顏文樑皆其學生。他工詩詞，擅音律，與吳梅、鄧邦述等詞家常有唱和。有〈雁村詞〉等詞集傳世。
