註：秦仲文，名裕，河北遵化人，早歲從臨摹〈芥子園畫譜〉入手，後就讀於北京大學，參加北大畫法研究會。得金城賞識，加入中國畫學研究會，並獲睹北樓收藏，觀摩臨摹，畫藝大進。後入湖社，並擔任評議之職。其作品〈寒林書屋〉及〈雪山蕭寺〉俱入選一九二二年於東瀛舉行之第二回日中繪畫展覽。他歷任北平各美術院校教職，以傳統山水享譽京華藝壇。

本幅寫重山叠嶺，密樹連綿，佈置井然，構圖、筆墨純以表現黃鶴山樵之法，得其神韻面貌，難怪北樓甚重視之！
