Description

  • inkcake
of rectangular form, finely moulded and picked out in green and gilt to the top with a mysterious retreat surrounded by craggy mountains and misty clouds, the reverse with two characters on the top reading yumo (‘imperial inkcake’), followed by a four-character inscription xianshan louge (‘pavilions in a mysterious mountain’), accompanied by a square seal reading yanyun shujuan, the sides inscribed with a Qianlong mark and a five-character hall mark reading Hanjingtan zhencang
