Description

  • porcelain
painted around the body with luxuriant sprays of pink peonies and white hibiscus, a flowering branch of magnolia extending over the neck, all divided by pink-ground floral borders, the base inscribed with an iron-red four-character Hongxian mark

Condition

The vase is in overall good condition. There are expected firing imperfections, including pin-prick air bubble to the glaze, occasional losses or bubbling to the enamels, more visible in one area on the pink ground band around the collar, tiny glaze gaps or iron spots.
