the archaistic plaque finely carved in openwork as a taotie mask, the translucent stone of a rich sage-green colour faintly marbled with russet streaks; the ‘dragon’ plaque carved in openwork in the form of a sinuous dragon with incised 'C'-scrolls to the body, the white stone with some natural veins, together with a glass archaistic plaque

Condition

The archaistic plaque is in overall good condition. There is some occasional pitting to the surface and expected minute nibbling here and there along the edges. The 'dragon' plaque is in good overall condition. There are a couple of small natural icy veins in the stone.
