Description

  • porcelain
each with a slightly everted rim, the exterior decorated with the bajixiang emblems arranged in pairs and wreathed in flowering sprays, the rim encircled with a band of multi-coloured clouds, the interior with a phoenix, the base inscribed in iron-red with a four-character hall mark

Condition

The two bowls are generally in good condition. There are some original pinholes to the surface glaze of both, as well as occasional rubbing to the gilding on the rims.
