each painted around the exterior with eight large peony blossoms borne on a meandering stem against a ground of dense foliage, between a zig-zag border at the rim and ruyi lappets encircling the foot, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

Condition

One bowl is in overall good condition. There are some pinholes and a couple of specks in the glaze to the interior. There is a 3.5 cm hairline crack to the rim and light surface wear to the other bowl.
