the archaistic cong-form body flanked by a pair of elephant-head handles, covered overall with a thick unctuous purplish-blue glaze, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark

Condition

The vase is generally in good condition. There is a small restoration to one of the the upper corners and another restored flake further down along the upper edge of the vase. There is a gap in the glaze to the opposite corner revealing the biscuit underneath. there are a few light scratches to the surface in areas.
