solidly potted, of tall conical form with a groove below the lip and supported on a short foot, covered with a thick, highly glossy black glaze with radiating iridescent silvery-blue striations, draining from the rim and stopping in a glossy black bulge above the foot revealing the dark greyish body beneath, the interior speckled with gold below the unglazed interior rim

Condition

The teabowl is in good condition. The bulge on the glaze drop above the unglazed foot is slightly polished. There are two patches of filling in the glaze (filling gaps) to one side below the rim with a few surface scratches.
