the larger bowl with a six-lobed rim, incised on the interior with scrolling peonies; the smaller bowl of conical form, moulded with a leafy lotus bloom, each applied with a transparent bluish glaze, the unglazed base partly burnt orange in the firing

Condition

The two bowls are in overall good condition. There are some radiant glaze crackles extending from the rim of the larger bowl and further glaze hairline on the underside. There are some original minute chips along the edge of the flat foot of the smaller bowl and a few typical specks in the glaze.
