Description

of compressed globular form with an everted rim, supported on a splayed foot, worked in low relief with archaistic dragons, the domed cover surrounded by pendant ruyi panels and surmounted by a facetted finial

Condition

The bowl and the cover are in overall good condition. The bowl and the cover are well fitted but possibly associated. The vase is sectional with the knob and the foot carved separately. There are a few small bruises or nicks along the edges, including a couple of nicks to the edge of the cover rim and footrim.
