the stemcup with a slightly everted rim and splayed stem, finely worked in basketwork and lined with silver on the interior and base; the handles of the wood cup carved with fruiting sprays and gnarled branches

Condition

Both cups are in overall good condition. There is some wear to the surface of both and some age cracks to the wood cup.There is some expected tarnishing and occasional dents to the silver liners and mounts, the most significant an approx. 1.5 cm chip to the silver sheet coating the stemcup above its footrim.
