Description

  • ceramics
of conical form with a flared rim, covered overall with a brown glaze accentuated with ‘partridge feather’ streaks in black, the glaze thinning at the rim and stopping irregularly at the foot to reveal the reddish-brown stoneware body

Condition

There are two shallow restored chips to the rim, measuring approx. 2 by 0.5 cm and 1 by 0.5 cm respectively, and a faint hairline, in addition to some original crackles extending from the rim.
