Description

  • ceramics
with a flared rim, covered overall with a black glaze, thinning at the rim with russet streaks extending downwards, the glaze falling short of the foot to reveal the buff-brown stoneware body, the base incised with a two-character tribute mark reading gongyu

Condition

It is in overall good condition. There is a tiny retouched flake of approx. 0.3 cm to the exterior mouthrim. The bowl also has some expected surface wear and typical firing imperfections including some polished kiln grits to the interior.
