Description

the deep bowl covered overall with a greyish-white glaze densely suffused with irregular-shaped spots, the glaze thinning at the rim and falling short of the foot to reveal the dark brown stoneware body

Condition

There are three restorations to the rim, one with an associated 3.5 hairline crack, otherwise the bowl is in fairly good condition. The glaze is somewhat decayed as visible in the catalogue photo, which is original to the piece.
