each of the two jars and covers applied with a lustrous black glaze thinning to a brown tone at the edges; the cup covered with a smooth sea-green glaze save for the concave base left in biscuit and burnt orange in firing; the rabbit rendered recumbent with a lingzhi spray set on its back, covered in a creamy-white glaze with painted details, Japanese wood boxes

Condition

The larger jar has a hairline to the mouth (approx. 1 cm on the exterior) and flakes to the rims, especially to the cover, some retouched. The small jar has a faint hairline along the diameter of the base in addition to typical flakes to the edges. The bowl is in overall very good condition. The rabbit has some restoration, including a couple of refilled areas to its chest and the mouth, as well as retouched patches to its left face and the lingzhi. All these pieces have some typical firing flaws and expected surface scratches.
