the interior decorated below the key-fret border with alternating roundels enclosing the characters wanshouwujiang (‘endless longevity without limit’) and beribboned wan symbols, encircling a shou medallion bordered by cresting waves, all reserved against the yellow ground, the exterior with feathery scrolls in blue enamels, inscribed to the base with a six-character mark

Condition

The dish is in overall very good condition, with expected wear and losses to the gilding and enamels. It also has some original firing imperfections such as a horizontal body line with an associated shallow firing line to the wall.
