the handle cast with the head of Vairocana supporting a half vajra-shaped terminal and applied with gilt, the shoulder of the bell cast with lança characters within lappets, above garlands of beaded tassels and Buddhist symbols between borders of visvavajra

The bell is in overall good condition with some surface wear and occasional nicks consistent with age. The clapper is missing.
