Description

each delicately potted with shallow rounded sides rising from a short foot to a flared foliate rim, finely decorated in green enamel against a yellow ground, the interior with a five-clawed dragon soaring en face around a 'flaming pearl', encircled by two slender dragons around the cavetto and repeated on the underside, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

Condition

The left dish is in overall good condition. There is a faint hairline crack (approx. 2 cm on the exterior and 1.5 cm on the interior) to the right dish, with an almost semi-circular restored chip of approx 4.2 cm.
