Description

comprising an orange soapstone seal with a 'Buddhist lion' finial, the mythical beast depicted with its head turned towards its back, the seal face with an indiscernible inscription; and a pair of opaque yellow-orange seals, each surmounted with a 'mythical beast' finial, one carved with a six-character inscription reading Censhi cen lou zhong wu, the other reading Censhi Juying zhai yin

Condition

There are small chips and surface wear to the edges and corners of the seals, more notably to the smaller one where there is a chip to the beast's snout. The catalogue illustration is slightly redder than the actual colours of the stones.
