- bronze
cast with a barrel-shaped body decorated with projecting bosses, surmounted by a long tapering collared tubular shank with a lug for suspension, one side inscribed
Condition
There is some typical weathering to the surface consistent with age. There are some areas of malachite and cuprite encrustations, probably artificially simulated to resemble the archaic bell. There is a small hole to the cast on one side between two rows of rivets.
