the slightly conical sides rising from a straight foot to a flared rim, applied with an opaque russet-brown glaze, the streaks on the interior thinning to reveal a lustrous black glaze beneath, the glaze stopping short above the foot revealing a buff-coloured ware

Condition

The bowl is generally in good condition. There are a few firing imperfections including a burst air bubble/glaze gap to the underside. There is an old small polished flake of approx. 0.8 cm to the outer rim.
