the stoneware body of tapered form, surmounted by a high domed cover with tall bud-form finial, later enameled and gilt, possibly in Japan, with scenes from the Tale of Genji with variously-shaped cartouches reserved on a vertically ribbed ground in alternating malachite and cobalt-blue, the cover similarly decorated (2)
