of circular form, the cover enameled at the center with a medallion enclosing a single lotus bloom reserved against a dark blue ground, bordered by a composite floral scroll with the flower heads picked out in yellow, red, white, green and blue enamel against a turquoise-blue ground, the sides with further composite scrolls on a dark blue ground, the rims and interiors gilt (2)

Condition

With losses and flaking to the enamels, as visible in catalogue photo, most severely to an area to the rim at approximately 1 o'clock. Scattered areas of old wax infill. Extensive wear to the gilding to the rims and to sections of the foot. The gilding to interiors and base largely intact. Surface wear throughout.
