of quadrilobed section, enameled at the center of the cover with a single lotus bloom within a gilt border, framed by further lotus and scrolls, the box similarly enameled, the rims, foot, base and interiors gilt, wood stand (3)

Condition

In good general condition, with some characteristic flaking, crazing and small losses to the enamels, several small lost cloisons to the box. Some wear to the gilding, particularly to the rims. The gilding to interior brilliantly preserved, with expected wear and scratching.
