each with a bell-shaped base supporting a drip pan with a galleried rim, rising to a knopped columnar neck and a smaller drip pan on top, fitted with a metal pricket, the exterior brightly enameled against the gilt ground with leafy strapwork of blooming lotus, variously divided by ruyi, floral scroll and lappet bands, encircled at the rims and feet by keyfret borders, the base incised with a four-character mark within a double square (2)

Condition

In good overall condition. The candlesticks would benefit from professional cleaning. Traces of a verdigris-type substance, as visible in the catalog image, possibly deposits from a cleaning material. The drip pans slightly lose. Rubbing and surface wear to gilding. Minor losses and flakes to enamels.
