Garth Williams
LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE.1952.
Pen and ink drawing as Alternate Cover Design for Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House on the Prairie (NY: Harper & Bros, 1953), signed with initials, also with Lettering mock-up for spine and cover matted together. Measures 6-1/8 x 5-3/4 inches on larger paper.

Apparently the only ink drawing by the artist for the series, as he primarily worked in pencil to convey a nostalgia tone.
