Six Panels of ink and watercolor drawings for Klipp-Klapp Kinderbilder. Three double-sided watercolors of costumed men, women and children, and dwarfs, creating an interchangeable Panorama. Each measures 10-3/4 x 4 inches.

Catalogue Note

Lothar Meggendorfer [1847–1925] is considered the father of mechanical moveable toy picture books. He was a cartoonist and illustrator, but best known for his pop-up books, published by J F Schreiber during the 1890s.
