Condition

Original canvas. The canvas appears sound.There are one or two tiny specks of loss, most noticeable to one or two of the impasto tips. There is some studio matter apparent at the centre of the lower edge. There are some traces of very light surface dirt in places. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition, with a fresh, lively palette and some rich areas of impasto. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals area of florescence in keeping with the Artist's material, but no obvious signs of restoration or retouching.
