Condition

The board is sound. There are nail heads visible in multiple places along the edges. There are some minor abrasions to the extreme edges of the board with a few resultant flakes of losses to the paint. The thicker areas of impasto are very slightly flattened and there a few small spots of surface dirt to the work. Subject to the above, the work is in excellent overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of restoration or retouching. The work is floating with a white painted box frame and held under glass.
