Condition

Unexamined out of the frame. The canvas appears sound. There are a few very minor fine lines of craquelure in places and a few very fine lines of reticulation to the pink pigment. There is some light surface dirt to the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in excellent overall condition, with fresh and vibrant colours. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is floated within a box mount and held under glass.
