Condition
Executed on thin tissue paper, the sheet has been laid down onto wove paper. The sheet is attached to the backing board by tabs running along the lengths of the bottom and top edges and in two places along the left edge. The sheet undulates very slightly and the edges are slightly curled at the top, left and right edges. There are minor wrinkles to the tissue paper most noticeable in the top right and bottom left quadrants. There are creases to the bottom left, bottom right and top right corners with associated hairline losses, with a further small vertical crack to the sheet in the centre of the composition. There are minor scratches to the sheet along the lower right edge and corner, with two further along the top edge. There are areas of minor staining throughout the sheet, some of which appear to be in keeping with the Artist's materials. Elements of the pencil have possibly faded in places.
The work is float mounted onto shaped backing card and held within a painted moulded frame under glass.
