Catalogue Note
Best known as the son of photographer Edward Weston, Brett Weston was born in Los Angeles in 1911 and started his career working alongside his father. Travelling extensively with his family, Brett photographed numerous locales and experimented with many different styles until finally settling on high contrast black-and-white prints.
