Catalogue Note

Second folio edition of the King James Bible, also known as the "Great She Bible" for the more correct reading "she went into the citie" in Ruth 3:15. However, it does contain an unfortunate error in Matthew 26:36 where "Judas" appears rather "Jesus" to lead the Apostles into the Garden of Gethsamene. In this copy, an early reader has corrected the mistake.
