Black letter text in double columns, 71 lines to the full column, general title and New Testament title within same woodcut border, woodcut initials and tailpieces, printer's ornaments used as headpieces and borders: two holes costing a few words on Ff5 and text in 9 lines on Eee5, three fore-edge tears (two repaired with some loss to side-notes on B8 and Pp7, the third slightly affecting one text line on P5), occasional dampstaining, light browning to edges, a few leaves browned overall. Nineteenth-century burgundy morocco blocked in blind, dark rose coated endpapers, edges gilt, brass hasp and catchplate; extremities rubbed, a few short scratches to upper cover.
