Folio (15 3/4 x 10 1/2 in.; 400 x 267 mm). General title printed in red and black, and divisional titles for Psalter and New Testament, all within the same woodcut border (McKerrow & Ferguson 203), another border used for the Apocrypha title-page (McKerrow 204), numerous genealogical diagrams, 2 woodcut maps (one full-page), full-page woodcut of Adam and Eve in Eden at the beginning of Genesis, black letter, text in double columns, 58 lines to the full column, almanac and calendar printed in red and black, woodcut initials, tailpieces, and printer's device; lacking initial and terminal blanks, general title faded and mounted with marginal losses, lower inside corners of preliminaries dampstained and reinforced, fore-edges in quire 2A remargined, scattered wormholes extending from preliminaries through quire T touching letters here and there, occasional dampstaining, top margins of Z1–5 repaired, Z5v additionally reinforced along bottom margin. Later calf paneled in blind; rebacked.

The only edition after 1572 containing the Psalter of the Bishops' version. Barker printed the last edition of the Bishops' Bible in 1606.
